Throughout the production of our trailer we were set on the title 'Viral' we chose this as it was a clear indicator to the main themes of our narrative and also illustrates the crippling effect of viruses, similar to the effect of the 'sex tape'.
We later decided not to use this title as a typical convention of the social realism genre is the vague yet meaningful titles such as fish tank. We therefore decided on the title Tipping Point, influenced by Malcolm Gladwell's book Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make A Big Difference. In this he describes a tipping point as "the moment of critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point" we thought this applied perfectly to the 'sex tape' and the process of videos going viral and therefore decided on it as our final title.
